North South University (NSU) has officially released the Academic Calendar for Spring 2026, outlining all major academic activities, registration deadlines, holidays, examinations, and important payment schedules. Students are strongly advised to review the calendar carefully to avoid missing critical deadlines during the semester. The Spring 2026 semester at NSU will begin on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, with regular classes starting on that day. Tuition fee payment for the semester will also begin from the same date.

Registration & Advising Schedule
- January 11, 2026 (Sunday): On-campus course registration begins for newly admitted students
- January 12, 2026 (Monday): Online course registration, add/drop, and section change begin for regular and probation students
- January 17, 2026 (Saturday): Orientation program for newly admitted undergraduate students
- January 19, 2026 (Monday): Online registration and add/drop period ends
- January 20, 2026 (Tuesday): Last day of section cancellation and merging
Tuition Fee Deadlines
- January 21, 2026: Tuition payment begins
- February 16, 2026: Last day of payment without late fee
- February 17, 2026: Payment with late fee of Tk. 2,000 begins
- March 2, 2026: Last day of payment with Tk. 2,000 late fee
- March 3, 2026: Additional late fee of Tk. 100 per day will apply
- March 9, 2026: Final payment deadline for financial aid recipients (without late fee)
Course Drop & Refund Policy
- January 29, 2026: Last day to drop courses with 100% refund
- February 9, 2026: Last day to drop courses with 50% refund
- March 4, 2026: Last day to drop courses with 0% refund (W grade applicable)
Holidays & No Class Days
The Spring 2026 semester includes several national and religious holidays, including:
- February 4: Shab-e-Barat
- February 11–12: National Election Holiday
- February 21: Martyrs’ Day & International Mother Language Day
- March 17: Laylatul Qadr
- March 19–23: Eid-ul-Fitr (subject to moon sighting)
- March 26: Independence Day
- April 14: Bangla New Year
- May 1: May Day & Buddha Purnima
Additionally, March 18, 24, 25 and May 2 are marked as No Classes days.
Exams & Evaluations
- March 8, 2026: Online Teaching Evaluation begins
- April 28–30, 2026: Last days of classes (based on course pattern)
- May 3, 2026: Final Examinations begin
- May 9, 2026: Final Examinations end
- May 13, 2026: Last day of grade submission for Spring 2026
