NSU International Student Orientation Program Summer 2026. A warm welcome to our newest international students at North South University! On 23 June 2026, the Office of External Affairs (OEA), through the Office of International Affairs (OIA), proudly organized the International Student Orientation Program to welcome students from around the world as they begin their academic journey at NSU.
The event was graced by Prof. Nasar U. Ahmed, Ph.D. (Tufts University, USA), Pro Vice-Chancellor of North South University, as the Special Guest. We were also honored by the presence of Dr. Ahmed Tazmeen, Ph.D. (University of Manitoba, Canada), M.S. (Illinois State University, USA), Registrar of North South University, and Prof. Dr. Dipak Kumar Mitra, Ph.D. (Johns Hopkins University, USA), MPH (Harvard University, USA), Dean, School of Health & Life Sciences, as distinguished guests. Their inspiring remarks encouraged our international students to pursue academic excellence, embrace cultural diversity, and actively engage in the vibrant NSU community.
The program introduced students to university resources, academic support services, campus life, and the diverse opportunities available at NSU. It also provided a platform to connect with fellow students, faculty, staff, and peers, fostering a sense of belonging from the very first day.
