NSU Debate Club Hosts Landmark Women’s Day Forum 2026. The North South University campus was full of energy and big ideas this week. The NSU Debate Club successfully held its Women’s Day Speech Competition and Panel Discussion for 2026. It was a day dedicated to sharing personal stories, thinking about the future, and standing up for women’s rights. The event brought together students and teachers to talk about how women are changing the world and making a positive impact every day.
The program started with an impromptu speech contest. In this part of the event, students had to speak on the spot without much preparation. The participants showed a lot of passion as they shared their bold ideas and personal experiences. They spoke loudly and clearly about the important role women play in our society. It was inspiring to hear so many young voices calling for real change and showing how much they care about making the world a better place.
After the speeches, the event moved into a deep and thoughtful panel discussion. The talk was led by the club’s faculty advisor, Mr. Omar Nasif Abdullah. He was joined by a group of respected leaders from different departments, including Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Nasar U. Ahmed and Dr. Nazlee Siddiqui, who leads the MBA programs. Also on the panel were Dr. Nazia Manzoor, the head of the English Department, and Ms. Parisa Shakur from the Economics Department. Having experts from so many different fields made the conversation very rich and interesting.
The panelists talked about what it takes for women to become leaders and how they can find success in their careers. They didn’t shy away from talking about the hard parts, like the barriers society sometimes puts in the way. They also stressed how important it is for women to be represented in every part of life, from business to education. By the end of the day, everyone left feeling reminded that history is made by women who stay strong and never give up. The photos and memories from the event show just how much can happen when people come together to support one another.
